I was fortunate enough to connect with Pete at a crucial point when I was navigating key decisions about my transition into the world of Pilates. Pete generously shared a lot of his time, offering me valuable industry insights combined with a wealth of his personal expertise, for which I am immensely grateful. I know it will set me up for future success as I embark on this journey.
Entering the profession could easily be intimidating, but Pete broke everything down wonderfully and made the Pilates community feel very welcoming. I found Pete’s Balanced Body online course module (Movement Principles) to be very engaging and easy to digest, despite the technical nature of the content. I can’t wait to further my experience and training with Pete, both in the studio and across time zones!
I have been teaching Pilates for many years and have completed a number of training courses in my time in the fitness / health and wellness industry. I’ve previously always come away from training feeling like I needed more information and more practise, but it was quite obvious from the beginning that the Balanced Body reformer training with Pete had real depth to it, yet Pete delivered it in a way that didn’t feel overwhelming. He’s a great trainer, an amazing athlete, a super genuine human being, and he is just brilliant at Pilates. Pete delivers the training with great enthusiasm and you leave feeling equipped to start teaching with confidence straight away! If you’re looking for a fun yet robust course taught by someone who really knows their stuff, then I can’t recommend this training enough.
I completed the four modules of the Balanced Body Pilates Reformer course in March 2023 and got certified in July 2023.
The course provided all the knowledge you need and more either in the comprehensive manuals or incredibly detailed videos. There’s a lot of information to digest but Pete is there for you every step of the way. His very generous with his knowledge and has a very gentle way to guide you providing tailored feedback and areas to improve. Pete also helped in how to acquire the required number of teaching hours. His Studio provides great opportunities for self practice and observation hours.
It’s a huge investment of time but as a result you end up a confident reformer teacher and a more knowledgeable mat one. I thoroughly enjoyed completing the course and all the knowledgeable I’ve learnt.
As an instructor, the Balanced Body Movement Principles course filled me with a new found enthusiasm for teaching. Pete’s knowledge, guidance and clear passion for Pilates and movement in general is infectious. Understanding how the body works and its mechanics is at times overwhelming and then learning how to apply this to your clients and everyday teaching is another hurdle in itself. Pete was able to make this all the more manageable, breaking it down slowly and allowing for those ‘lightbulb’ moments to happen! And there were a few! I would highly recommend undertaking a course with Pete as your mentor, you will be sure to come away feeling enlightened.
Pete’s online MOTr course. Pete’s teaching was professional, informative and expertly delivered. A Pre course reading manual was sent out prior to the start of the course with detailed content that was easy to follow alongside the online content. Pete was able to share his experiences from his many years of teaching and adequate time was given for practice and questions. This allowed for a more tailored approach for the attendees. I highly recommend embarking on a learning journey with Pete.
I have completed an online Balanced Body certified MOTR Teacher Training with Pete in April 2021. The training was very thorough, well put together and presented by Pete. We had sufficient amount of theory and practice to build our confidence on the MOTR in regard to creating well rounded full body workout and with emphasis on biomechanics behind each movement.
Manuals provided are very good guidance for training but also if you ever need to go back to them when working on lesson plans.
Pete is a great mentor, always available if you struggle with anything or have a question. And will provide you with a constructive advise to prepare you for the exam to your best abilities. He doesn’t want you to just pass the exam he wants you to be the best teacher you can be.
And once you a part of a training you are a part of a community and continuous support.
If you looking for a continuous professional development and additional training on other equipment and you are curious about MOTR contact Peter and he will answer all your questions.
